I am Cuban and have been here for a long time now. I left when I was 13 years old at the end of 1960. I despise the Castro regime. I have never gone back, send no money and live for the day he is gone. But I believe in the freedom I have found here and will honor and protect it. One of these important freedoms is freedom of expression. I would never try to keep this book out of the library. The way to fight infamy is with truth and not supression. We as Cubans should really know that well. The way to deal with this is to openly have programs that educate in the errors in the book. The best way to deal with it is with educating our children with the truth and comparing the reality of Cuba today with the fantasy proclaimed in the book. This is how we truly win. Castro loves the controvery os banning the book...we are giving him what he wants! What we need to do is compare the truth and reality of life there with the way it is portrayed in the book.!

Defenders and critics can agree on one thing: The exile generation came to Miami and changed the city forever.

Sinceramente : "Food for thought" -A los buenos entendidos, pocas palabras.
